January 3—Feast of the Holy Name of Jesus

One thing I advise thee:
that thou not forget his name

JESUS

but ponder it in thy heart
night and day
as they special and dear treasure.
Love it more than life,
root it in thy mind...
Fix the name of

JESUS

so fast in thy heart
that it never be out of thy thought.
It shall be in thy ear joy
in thy mouth honey
and in thy heart melody....
