Seminarians Visit on the Feast of St. Joseph

We were blessed with a delightful visit with 4 seminarians from Immaculate Conception Seminary, South Orange, NJ and their spiritual mentor, Fr. Mark O'Malley. We shared a bit about our day and they in turn told us something about their daily schedule and formation preparing them for the priesthood.

We were delighted with the visit and look forward to more groups of seminarians visiting! Currently the seminary is filled with 70 men! Our Archdiocese of Newark will have a class of 12 men ordained during this beautiful Year for Priests.

We were presented with a dozen white roses--"For St. Joseph, Sisters, NOT for you!" and Italian cookies and chocolates--for us!

With Fr. O' Malley are: Zack Swantek, Glenn Evers, Carmine Rizzi, Juan Pablo Morales. Missing from the photo because he got sick is Julio Barrio.

Not sure how to have 20 nuns spiritually adopt 5 seminarians, (4 nuns for each man?) in the end we decided to have our 5 in formation as the spiritual mothers of these special men! May God see fit to that our life of prayer will nourish and make fruitful their priestly ministry in the years to come!
