New Features to our website

If you are a regular reader to our blog you might be going just to the blog page and not stopping by the homepage. You might like to check out our new look! We've changed our color scheme (the other was well, too brown!) to better reflect the distinctive Marian quality of our Dominican life.

The homepage now boasts what is called a slider. You see them on lots of websites and they are a wonderful way to share new photos, information, etc. Check regularly as our slider will change to reflect the liturgical year, special feasts, aspects of our Dominican life and just because Sr. Blogger has a great photo on her camera!

Lastly, there is a column "Upcoming Events at the Monastery". These might be mentioned in passing on the blog but they will be on the homepage as a reminder.

Over the next few months there will be other changes and additions.
