Summer School

Summer is the time when nuns go to school! Why? Because it's really hot outside?

Because the air conditioner gets put on in the community room?

Or maybe it just because summer is the time when we can get lecturers to come!

After two years (yes, Father, TWO YEARS!) Fr. Pablo Gadenz, assistant professor of Biblical Studies at Seton Hall University has returned to give us a three part series of lectures on "The Biblical Theology of Pope Benedict XVI". Last night we glanced very briefly at the teachings of the Council of Trent, the approach of biblical studies before Vatican II and Ratzinger's insights and contributions to Dei Verbum, the Document on Divine Revelation.

We are always happy to have Fr. Gadenz with us and appreciate the opportunity to engage in sacra doctrina, true to our Dominican charism.
