Rosary Pilgrimage

Spring is finally here in full force, and along with apple blossoms and bird song came the return of our May Rosary Pilgrimage. This year we were joined by Sr. Mary John's family, as her great-niece Emily had the honor of crowning Our Lady. Our guest preacher for the event was Fr. Matthew Carroll, OP, a Dominican friar of St. Joseph Province and religion teacher at St. Vincent Ferrer High School in Manhattan. Perhaps one would think that eventually our preachers would run out of material to preach on the rosary...but 'one' would be wrong! No two guest preachers are alike and neither is their preaching. On Sunday Fr. Carroll spoke to us about a little of what the three most recent popes have said about Our Lady and her rosary.
