Dominican Friars of the Southern Province
Our brethren of the Southern Province of St. Martin de Porres have 2 parishes in New Orleans, one is St. Anthony of Padua on Canal Street. The headquarters of the Province are in Metairie.
We haven't heard if they evacuated or how they are so if you have any news do let us know!
We did learn that the Sisters of the Monastery of the Heart of Jesus in Lockport did NOT evacuate but no other news.
