Just a week in June...

The roses are in bloom all over the garden! The strawberries are just coming in! They aren't as sweet as we'd like. Too much rain!

The kiwifruit is flowering for the 1st time! Will we have kiwi? Probably not as the male vine isn't very mature!

It's the year of the 17 year cicada and these critters are everywhere! As the day gets warmer you can hear them, especially near certain trees. It's so loud it drowns out any traffic sounds!

Hanging out on the pine tree.

Sabina enjoys an afternoon snack of cicadas!

Sr. Mary Augustine baked bread for the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart...appropriately in the shape of a heart (or is that a pretzel?)

Sr. Kathleen Harmon, SND spends a week with us giving us a singing workshop. It's been such a help!

The 2nd sopranos

The altos got into a circle so they could hear each other better.

They are a very affirming group!

The 1st sopranos. There are too many of them. We need more altos and 2nd's!

Keep watching for the latest news on these cutie's!
