A little of this, a little of that

The dinner plate size hole in our Chapter Hall ceiling from the accumulated snow on our roof. African Violets in the novitiate...we are ready for Spring!

Despite the snow outside, signs of Spring are evident inside!

The Refectory floor gets a new coat of polyurethane.

...which means we've been moved out of the refectory temporarily.

...and into the Community Room! (This is a picture of the week's refectory reader reading from our chronicles, which we read every Friday).

Everything is a little cramped in the kitchen, but we are making it work.

Sr. Mary Rose, from the monastery in Lufkin, TX, stopped by briefly on her way home from the Association Council Meeting in the Bronx monastery. She taught us a "boot dance" to help us keep warm during this endless winter!
