Christmas Visit
On Wednesday of Christmas week, Sr. Mary Elizabeth was able to come home to the monastery for a visit. Sister had been home shortly before Christmas and had seen some of the decorations, but as it was not Christmas yet nothing was lit up. On her visit she was able to see all the many decorations, the creches with the baby Jesus in place and the Christmas tree lit up. Sister also opened her gifts, including the beautiful embroidered scarf we each received from the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, each one embroidered with our name and the Dominican shield and motto.
