Rosary Sunday

On Sunday we held our October Rosary Pilgrimage with guest preacher Fr. Lawrence Lew, OP. Fr. Lew is a Dominican friar of the English Province. He is currently in the States to study at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, DC. Besides being a talented preacher he is also known for his gifted photography. After our Chaplain, Fr. Gregory Salomone, OP led us in the Dominican rosary, Fr. Lew gave a wonderful sermon connecting the rosary with the Old Testament idea of Jubilee and the two Jubilees we are currently celebrating, the Jubilee Year of Mercy and our Order's 800th Anniversary Jubilee. You can read the whole sermon on Father's tumblr page here! After the pilgrimage we gathered in the parlor to greet some of the pilgrims. We were able to spend evening recreation with Fr. Lew in the parlor and received his blessing before we headed to Compline.
