A Lesson on Singapore

On Sunday night our postulant Sr. Clare introduced our community to Singapore. She had put together a wonderful slideshow to click through as she taught us about her home country. We couldn't get over how tiny Singapore is...and how densely populated! Singapore ranks as the third most densely populated country with almost 20,000 people per sq. mile. Curious, we had to look up how New Jersey, the most densely populated state in America, compares. New Jersey has *only* 1,200 people per sq. mile. How does the population affect life in Singapore? People are stacked in housing and are "queue crazy." Here are some pictures from Sr. Clare's talk.
