Stella Caeli Extirpavit

Stella Caeli Extirpavit is a hymn said to have been composed by the Sisters of the Monastery of Santa Clara in Coimbra, Portugal, during the plague in the early 14th century. We have begun chanting it every evening after Vespers to implore Our Lady’s intercession during our own day’s pandemic. You can find a pdf for the hymn HERE.
